A Brief Overview of

Exile and Return: A Year in the the Old Testament

Exile and Return is an Old Testament lectionary, designed as a linch pin for a year-long congregational focal point, founded on the bedrock of liturgically driven discipleship, embracing
the Ecclesiastical Calendar as an ultimate tool for Spiritual growth.

It follows classic seasons and themes as a living letter, but also fuses their heritage into the the rhythms of modern American life, finding tandem with the school year and embracing the mini seasons already present within the ancient formulas.

Finally, does not begin at the beginning, but at the end, for the sojourn does not start and finish with creation, but with redemption, manifested in the fulness of time which is the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
